Crawling Stone Lake

Crawling Stone Lake is a large, exceptionally varied Northwoods lake, with deep open-water basins giving way to islands, points, narrow passages, sheltered bays, and the adjoining waters of Little Crawling Stone Lake. Carefully drawn bathymetric contours reveal an especially intricate underwater landscape, with depths reaching more than 80 feet in places and numerous steep breaks, shoals, and submerged features.
